Adrian M. Brune is indeed a woman, and a victim of a family name. Since 1998, Adrian has merged her tennis passion, journalism expertise, and new(ish) diplomatic skills, to cover the Tennis/Padel scene, as well as provide insight and solutions into the systems that govern tennis. In addition to writing about tennis for such magazines such as Racquet, Courts, Air Mail and the Spectator, Adrian, a former player at Northwestern University, earned a MS/Journalism from Columbia, followed eventually by a MA/Global Diplomacy + Development from SOAS, University of London. Her SOAS thesis “Tennis for Development and Diplomacy in Iraq,” was optioned for publication in a science journal.
Katie Ladbrooke grew up with football and tennis embedded in her genes, literally. The granddaughter of a Premier League footballer and daughter of a junior Wimbledon qualifier, Katie eventually defaulted to tennis. In her work life, Katie is a senior global leader with a strong track record of revenue and profitability optimization through the implementation of pricing strategies for innovative businesses. She earned her BS/Urban Planning at London’s Southbank University and a MBA/Pricing at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
A British national, Katie has lived, worked and played competitive tennis across EMEA, APAC and the Americas regions, including at Sydney’s legendary Manly Club. Having worked at multinational companies in multiple locations, Katie has a proven ability to think on her feet, break down complex problems, analyse competitive landscapes, and apply advanced data and analytics to deliver project results. She has attended three out of the four Grand Slams, and was a regular at the U.S. Open when she lived in New York. Katie aims to pass on some of the tennis opportunities and privileges she had growing up to the RALLY community.
