Picking up a new racquet sport? Trying tennis or Padel for the first time? Lacking a place to play or a coach to help you? Or even a strung racquet?
You’ve come to the right place! As we build up and add features to RALLY app and RALLY website, get a personal consultancy from Adrian or Katie on Tennis/Padel. Before Adrian knew how to find courts, at age seven, she picked up her father’s 1981 Wilson aluminum waffle racquet and started hitting balls against the garage. A few broken windows later, her parents opted for lessons. Since then, Adrian has spent endless hours hitting balls against: walls, ball machines, a NYC parking garage, and now her regular court buddy at the Coolhurst Club in North London.

In addition to playing USTA Oklahoma/Missouri Valley tournaments, Adrian was the No. 1 and No. 2 singles player on her prep school tennis team, Cascia Hall in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Adrian — using the tenacity she gained in early tennis — walked on as a player at ITA top-ranked Northwestern University. After rekindling her love for the game during her late 30s in New York and London, Adrian currently plays LTA/Masters tournaments and gained her USTA and LTA certifications court supervision and line judging. She has written about the culture of tennis, its people and its clubs around the world for Courts, Racquet, Spectator and Air Mail magazines.

Katie is a born tennis player with a knack for angles, serves, and doubles. Although a field hockey and netball player in her youth, Katie had a side hustle as her father’s practice partner before his league matches. After university, Katie leaned into tennis full-time, especially in the warm sunshine of Sydney, Australia’s Manly Tennis Club.

At Manly, Katie was a standout doubles player and strategist leading her club team to several inter-club and regional championships. Katie knows the ins-and-outs of a good angle, “Australian” doubles play, court positioning, and how to keep cool in pressure situations — a key skill for today’s game.
